What are the Possibilites?
The possibilites for this fundraiser are literally endless because the fundraiser can be ongoing all year long. The best result will come from a strong advertised drive of a few weeks to gather as many cell phones as possible (Remember: conveying urgency to your donors is key). Community REF will pay for all makes and models of phones ranging from $0.10 per phone to $40.00 per phone. To make more money on your fundraiser, try to collect as many recent model phones as possible to raise as much money as possible.

Depending on the quality of phones you collect, you will see an average of $0.25 - $2.00 per phone that you collect!

Example:
Consider you are the Parent Teacher Organization Treasurer for your local elementary school and you need to raise money for a new playground being built at the school. Consider the following:

If the school has 400 students and only 200 of them go home and collect old unused cell phones from their parents and neighbors, each student could possibly collect 10 phones.

10 Phones__X __ 200 Students __ = __ 2000 Phones

An Average of $2.00 Per phone __ X __ 2000 Phones __ = __ $4000.00
