How does it Work?
To begin your fundraiser, simply register by filling out the form by clicking the Get Started button at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email from REF confirming that your fundraiser has been setup. Based on the scale of your phone drive, you will receive at least one recycling box via Fedex within 3-5 business days (no PO Boxes).

Collecting Phones
This fundraiser is only going to be as profitable as the time you put into it. We suggest being proactive collecting the phones by using the flyers and other suggestions found on the REF Tools page. Even going door to door asking them to donate their old unused cell phones to your cause. Sample scripts are available also in REF Tools.

Collect as many phones as possible and put them into the Recycling box. Once the box has been filled, close up the box and mail it in (Remember: we only pay for cell phones, so we suggest removing any chargers and accessories before sending).

How do I get Paid?
Once the phones have been mailed back to REF, the phones will be assessed to make sure there is no physical damage to the phones and a check will be made out to the contact or organization of your fundraiser.

Once your fundraiser is over, we will arrange for another box to be sent to your organization to continue collecting phones. Once this box is filled up, send it in, collect your check, and receive another recycling box to continue raising money for your cause.
